Many people who overcome childhood cancer experience a wide range of physical, intellectual and emotional side effects, or late effects. At St. Louis Children’s Hospital (www.StLouisChildrens.org), ongoing follow-up support is provided to childhood cancer survivors. This is done by monitoring the long-term effects of the patients cancer treatments.
