I am so glad to hear it does come back, and doesn’t take forever. I had been told by others theirs didn’t start growing back for a couple of years. It’s getting pretty thin, it’s now obvious in the front.

I would say it took about 4 or 5 months of my hair thinning before it started growing back. It WILL come back.

I’m 3 1/2 months out and loss hair like crazy. I’ve been told it will grow back, I just hope I’m not totally bald by then and it doesn’t take more then a year to come back. I may be buying a wig.

Don’t worry, your going to lose more, but it will ALL COME BACK… TRUST ME!! Nothing much you can do except to eat your protiens and take your vitamins. Best wishes.

It’s called starving. Sorry you guys…I wish I could have gotten a hold of you all before you mutilated your bodies. I dropped 180 pounds in two years with diet and exercise and I am now a PT. I pray for you all.

I wish you the best of luck, don’t get discouraged about it. Just keep up your protein, and vitamins. I get my vitamins from GNC store. I buy the powder protein mix chocolate flavor from there also. For something different i mix it pour it in a cup and freeze it, then eat it like ice cream.

I just recently had a hair cut and it is fairly short than what I am used to. I couldn’t stand it anymore. Thanks!

I had gastric surgery also and had the thinning hair. I had hair down to my waist and got it cut short. One suggestion if you don’t want to cut your hair, find a beautician that would add extensions to help fill in for you maybe? Good luck

I lost most of my hair as well, I am over a year out and its STILL thin and growing in slow.. however you can do things which will help you. One, make sure you take your supplements and biotin. There are pure protein drinks out there you can take that have 42 grams.. you need to aim for like 80 MIN a day. Good luck :)

Not sure how long it will last, but lots say it will come back. I would assume as soon as we are able to get in enough protiens on a regular basis?
