Austin begins his chemotherapy treatments directly into his blood stream. The harsh chemicals can cause some undesirable side effects. Austin stays strong, positive, and in a fighting mood to tackle the challenges ahead. What a Champ!

It amazes me how much strength young children have in the face of life-threatening illnesses. I know it can be hard (I was diagnosed with Leukemia at the end of September) but it helps me to know about kids going through the same thing, even as young as some are. I even recongnized the names of the chemos, Ara-C and Daunorubicin. I wish Austin the best of luck and thank you for sharing your experiences.
